Country/Colleges/Subbies Division – Player Eligibility

​

This division is intended for genuine Club, College and Suburban Rugby teams and is not a representative or composite team competition.

​

To be eligible, players must:

​

• Be registered with the club or college they are representing during the 2026 season.

• Have played a minimum of five (5) matches for that club or college during the 2026 season.

 

To embrace the spirit of Rugby Sevens, each team may include up to two (2) invitational players who were not registered with, or did not play for, that club or college during the 2026 season.

​

As prize money will be awarded in this division, all eligibility requirements will be strictly enforced. Teams may be required to provide evidence of player registration and participation if requested by the Tournament Director.

Social Division – Player Eligibility

​

The Social Division is designed for social, recreational and community-level players.

This division is not open to players who are currently competing in premier competitions, including:

​

• Shute Shield

• Hospital Cup

• NSW Cup

• Queensland Cup (Q Cup)

• Equivalent premier competitions in other states or countries

 

Teams are expected to respect both the intent and spirit of this division. It is designed to provide an enjoyable and competitive experience for genuine social teams, not to create an unfair advantage by selecting players well above the intended standard.

 

Super Social Division:

This division is all about good times and great company. Designed for players who have hung up their competitive boots, this division offers a light-hearted return to the field—where the focus is less on winning and more on laughs, camaraderie, and post-match antics.

Whether you’re reliving the glory days or just looking for an excuse to get the crew back together, Super Social is the place to play hard, party harder, and enjoy everything that makes 7s rugby unforgettable.
